Terms of Use — Pirate Duel Arena

By playing Pirate Duel Arena (“the game”) you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License
Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/), which applies to every App Store app.
Your account
- One account per player. Keep your device and your Apple ID safe: whoever can open the game on them can play your
captain. Sign in with Apple or Game Center (Settings → Account) to keep your captain when you change phones.
- You can delete your account at any time in the game (Settings → Account → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and
final, including bought gems and items.
Gems, gold and items
- Gold, gems and items are a licence to use them in the game only. They have no cash value and can’t be sold,
traded or exchanged for money, and they can’t be moved to another account.
- Gems are bought through the App Store. Apple handles payment and refunds (https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
When Apple refunds a purchase, the game takes the bought gems or gold back, and what was already spent is paid back
first from what you earn later. The same applies if Apple reverses the refund in your favour: everything is given
back.
- The starter pack can be bought once per account.
- Chests you buy (for money or gems) always show their exact contents before you buy. Some chests you earn by
winning have random contents; the odds are shown in the game before you open them. No random item is sold.
- We may change prices, items and the game’s balance in updates. Once a gem pack is on sale, it will never give fewer
gems for the same price.
Admiral’s Pass (subscription)
- The Admiral’s Pass is an auto-renewing monthly subscription ($4.99 in the US; the App Store shows the price in
your country before you confirm). Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm and at each renewal.
- It renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current month: Settings on
your device → your name → Subscriptions. You can cancel any time there; the pass stays active until the month ends.
- While it is active you get its daily gems, its perks and that month’s exclusive look. Looks you received in a
paid month stay yours after the pass ends; daily gems and perks stop when it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Fair play
Don’t cheat, use bots or modified apps, exploit bugs, harass other players, or pick offensive names. We may hide names,
reset progress gained unfairly, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Report problems in the game
(Report on a player card) or by e-mail.
The game itself
- The game is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running but can’t promise it will always be available or free of
bugs. Online play needs an internet connection.
- We may update or, with notice in the game, end the service. If the game ever shuts down, unused gems can’t be
refunded by us; Apple’s refund rules still apply to recent purchases.
- To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under the
consumer laws of your country.
We may update these terms; the new version is posted here with a new date, and the game tells you about important
